Nolvadex pills should be used without chewing. They should be swallowed with some water, in one session in the morning, or include 2 doses once a week – in the morning and also in the evening.
Nausea, vomiting, severe constipation or diarrhea, in single cases – fatty liver infiltration, cholestasis, hepatitis;
Hyperemia of the skin with feeling of heat;
Leukopenia, strong thrombocytopenia, thrombosis, thromboembolism, thrombophlebitis;
Loss of visual acuity, serious corneal opacity, cataract, retinopathy, retrobulbar neuritis.
Endometrial hyperplasia, some reversible development of strong cystic tumors, strong vaginal discharge, metrorrhagia, dysmenorrhea, some genital itching, amenorrhea.
The symptoms of overdose include increased side effects. Treatment should be symptomatic; there is no specific antidote.
Nolvadex: Special Instructions
Before starting treatment with Nolvadex, women must undergo a thorough gynecological (pregnancy exclusion) and therapeutic examination;
The remedy causes ovulation, which really increases the possibility of pregnancy, that is why women of reproductive age must always use reliable non-hormonal methods of contraception while having this treatment and three months after the end of the treatment;
During the therapy, it is necessary to monitor blood clotting parameters, blood picture (leukocytes, platelets), liver function indicators, blood pressure periodically, see an ophthalmologist every 3 months, have gynecological examination. When there is bloody discharge from the vagina or vaginal bleeding, the pills should be discontinued.
